A Scots beauty has been named Miss Great Britain after beating 37 other contestants to scoop the glittering crown.
Amy Meisak, from Hamilton, said her dreams came true when she was named the new Miss Great Britain at the final in Leicester.
In a competition first, Amy's mum Laurie, also competed in the competition in the Ms Great Britain Classic section and finished in the top three.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! I am MISS GREAT BRITAIN! If this is a dream... plz don’t wake me up @missgb_official Makeup by @kirstyemartinmua Tan by @summerglow_kk."
The 28-year-old is no stranger to pageants and has been competing in competitions for years. However, this year has been extremely tough after she was diagnosed with incurable auto-immune disease Lupus.
She said: "In October last year I was diagnosed with an incurable auto-immune disease called lupus. You can imagine my world has turned upside down and it's hard to get your head around that when you're a young, fitness enthused girl who for years has been so invested in being fit and healthy and looking after my body."
Amy then says she was dealt with another blow after losing her beloved Grandpa, but winning the competition has been the silver lining for her.
On Instagram, as she signed her Miss GB contract, she said: "I am so excited for this next chapter of my life! I honestly can’t believe it! A dream come true!"
And many flocked to the comments to congratulate her. One wrote: "So well deserved!!!! Can’t wait to watch this journey of yours beautiful soul. So blooming glad I got to witness this!!!"
