A Scot could make history tomorrow – becoming the producer with the most consecutive Christmas No1s.
Glaswegian musician and producer Jamie Sellers, 37, is the man behind Creator Universe, a group of TikTok stars whose cover of Wizzard’s I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday is competing against Wham’s Last Christmas for the coveted festive No1, revealed tomorrow.
Jamie, who arranged, played all the instruments and produced the song, was also behind the last three of LadBaby’s five festive No1s.
If he hits the top spot again, Jamie’s four consecutive No1s will go one better than George Martin – he also had four chart-toppers with the Beatles but they weren’t consecutive.

Jamie’s first festive chart-topper was LadBaby’s third Christmas No1, Don’t Stop Me Eatin’, in 2020.
He produced Sausage Rolls for Everyone in 2021, which featured Elton John and Ed Sheeran and gave the husband and wife duo of Mark and Roxanne Hoyle their fourth No1.
Last year Jamie steered them to their record-breaking fifth Christmas No1 with Food Aid, a remake of Band Aid’s Do They Know It’s Christmas?
To some people’s relief, LadBaby decided not to release a song this year and Jamie thought his charity Christmas single days were over – but now he’s
