Scarlett Johansson sat down to talk about her movie Asteroid City and discussed what it means to her to be named the highest grossing actress of all time.
The 38-year-old actress stars in the Wes Anderson movie about world-changing events spectacularly disrupting the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention.
When asked how she responds to her being named the highest grossing actress of all time, she said, “I’m pretty sure I’m going to get some text message from Sam [L] Jackson, that’ll be like ‘No, no, no, no.’ Wait a minute.”Keep reading to find out more… “I think he’s the number one, oh I guess I’m the maybe [number one] actress,” Scarlett continued.
Then it was noted that she has her Asteroid City co-star Tom Hanks beat in terms of highest-grossing actors.
When asked if she brings that fact up to him, she joked CBS Mornings, “I’m gonna start doing that.”
Asteroid City will be released in select theaters on Friday, June 16th and nationwide on Friday, June 23rd.
