‘Saw X’: Jigsaw Is Back In Gruesome New Trailer For ‘Most Chilling’ Film In Franchise Yet

Hurricane Hilary, once an ultra-dangerous category 4 storm, has been downgraded to a Category 2, and may diminish to a Category 1 by the time it arrives in Los Angeles.

But Hurricane Hilary is a first, even for him, and he’s ready for it. “It’s really a crazy situation,” he tells Variety.

Los Angeles and the rest of Southern California is bracing for a potentially historic weather event this weekend as Hurricane Hilary barrels up the Mexico coast. The National Weather Service today issued the first-ever tropical storm watch for the region from San Diego northward through L.A. and Ventura counties as Hilary threatens to strengthen into a walloping Category 5 storm.

In a rare occurrence, a former hurricane may hit Los Angeles this weekend with tropical storm-force winds (39-73 mph) and heavy rain. What is now Tropical Storm Hilary off the coast of Mainland Mexico is forecast to become a hurricane by 1 p.m. Thursday and a major hurricane (Cat 3 and above) by 1 a.m. Saturday. By 1 p.m. Sunday, Hilary is expected to become a lesser hurricane and then hit Southern California and potentially Los Angeles as a tropical storm.
