The trio joined the late night show in 2021, with their popular shorts usually involved that week’s host and increasingly large budgets.

Jaden Thompson NBC has announced that Chloe Troast is joining the cast of “Saturday Night Live,” the only new comedian rounding out the show’s talent lineup for the coming year. Troast will make her “SNL” debut on Oct. 14, when the show’s 49th season premieres.

Pete Davidson will be pefrorming live from the road.The comic is currently midway through a nationwide tour and, at the time of publication, has 27 gigs remaining on his 2023 calendar.Leading up to the “Saturday Night Live” Season 49 premiere, the “Bupkis” star is slated to co-headline with John Mulaney in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky although it’s likely some of these upcoming shows will be moved around to fit “SNL’s” notoriously rigid schedule.After the Oct. 14 episode with musical guest Ice Spice, Davidson will return to the road and perform all over the country including stops at Red Bank, NJ’s Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre on Nov.

Brian Steinberg Senior TV Editor NBC is ready to open the 49th season of “Saturday Night Live,” pushed back just a week or two from when the series might normally launch in the fall. After being shut down in May by the Hollywood writers strike, “SNL” will return on October 14, marking the first of three consecutive weeks of original broadcasts, NBC said in an announcement Wednesday. Ice Spice will serve as musical guest.

While Season 48 of Saturday Night Live was cut short by the writers strike in May, it’s looking like the iconic late-night show will be set for a full Season 49 this winter, and it could get underway soon.
