King Charles III thanked Armagh for the warm welcome he and Queen Camilla received during the second day of their visit to Northern Ireland.The son of the late Queen Elizabeth II attended a service at St Patrick’s Cathedral attended by various religious leaders while wife Camilla visited the Armagh Robinson Library and Museum, which is home to a number of local archaeological items. At the library Camilla met children from Drelincourt Primary School and volunteers from Dementia NI, before signing a commemorative photograph for the museum.

Brent Lang Executive Editor Drafthouse Films has acquired three films that it will release theatrically in U.S. theaters followed by digital releases across major streaming platforms.  They include “Mister Organ,” a documentary from journalist and filmmaker David Farrier, whose 2016 film “Tickled” explored the dark underbelly of “competitive endurance tickling,” will be released in theaters this fall. As he turns his camera on another stranger than fiction story, Farrier finds himself caught in an increasingly dangerous game of cat and mouse with a mysterious character who expertly manipulates the lives of anyone who dares to expose his secrets. The film, Produced by Ant Timpson and Firefly Films’ Emma Slade and Alex Reed, was a critical and audience favorite at Fantastic Fest 2022, and has become a box office hit in Farrier’s native New Zealand.

Charades has boarded international sales on upcoming Mubi-backed production “Bring Them Down.”  Starring Barry Keoghan, Academy Award nominated for “The Banshees of Inisherin,” and Christopher Abbott (“Sanctuary”), a Golden Globe nominee for “Catch 22,” “Bring Them Down” marks the first feature from writer-director Chris Andrews, behind award-winning short films “Fire” (2015) and “Stalker” (2019). On “Aftersun,” Charades took on international sales duties, with Mubi boarding to take distribution rights to multiple territories – such as U.K.-Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain – just as the films bowed in 2022 Cannes Critics’ Week. 

Lala Kent is pushing back on a Scandoval fan theory. On the latest episode of her podcast, the 32-year-old reality star denied that Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss, which he had amid his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix, was staged for ratings.«This is not a staged thing.

Deadline reports that “The Banshees Of Inisherin” actress Kerry Condon will join Brad Pitt in the cast of Joseph Kosinski‘s still-untitled F1 racing movie over at Apple. Of course, it was inevitable for Condon to land a big-budget follow-up role to “Inisherin” after her performance in that film nabbed the actress an Oscar nomination.

Kerry Condon, recently Oscar-nominated for “The Banshees of Inisherin,” will join Brad Pitt and Damson Idris in Apple Original Films’ Formula One racing flick. The yet-untitled film will be directed by Joseph Kosinski (“Top Gun: Maverick,” “Tron: Legacy”).Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films will join Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment in producing the film alongside Kosininski and seven-time Formula One champion Sir Lewis Hamilton under his Dawn Apollo Films banner.
