Sam Smith is taking their Unholy show on the road.
After a sterling 2022 - which saw Kim Petras collaboration Unholy light up TikTok and became Sam's eighth UK Number 1 single - the start of the year saw Sam issue their fourth LP Gloria.
Debuting at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart in January, Gloria became Sam's third chart-topping album in the UK, and the ultimate testament to a record that sees Sam collaborate with the likes of Calvin Harris, Koffee and Jessie Reyez on a body of work that truly sees them step into themselves, fully informed by club and queer culture, as well as their most dance-orientated work of pop yet.
Given this, the Gloria Tour, which started yesterday (April 12) in Sheffield, is a hell of a show. Split into three parts, Love, Beauty and Sex (how very Natalia Kills), the setlist takes skipping steps through tracks from all of Sam's albums, slowly ramping up in tempo and pace, before a glorious bacchanal finale.

Olivia Wilde and Margaret Zhang, editor-in-chief of Vogue China, were spotted wearing the same dress at the 2023 Met Gala. The women likely imagined they would be the only ones to grace the red carpet Monday in their vintage-inspired Chloé dress based on a 1983 Karl Lagerfeld design, but to their surprise, they were twinning.Wilde wore an angelic long white dress with side cutouts, a turtleneck neckline and a gold embellishment on the front, while Zhang wore a black version of the same outfit. Both ladies added their own flare to their look; Zhang threw on her stunner shades, blocking out any sight of her replica look, while Wilde accessorized her dress with gilded wristbands and a gold clutch. Many Met Gala watchers took to Twitter to share their thoughts about the big fashion no-no.One person tweeted, “The biggest yikes ever.”“Oof.

Piers Morgan, 58, vowed that he'd "restore Britain" to its "former glorious non-woke self" with the help of a twenty-point plan - and sanctions involving Unholy singer Sam Smith's videos are at the heart of his strategy. The semi-satirical piece, published in his column for The Sun on Thursday, suggests that "all 'preferred personal pronouns'" should be "banned with immediate effect", as they are "pointless, confusing and annoying". The TalkTV star - who is clearly feeling more Uncensored than Unholy - also took a swipe at Sam Smith.
Aerosmith played a pair of huge shows in Boston and Maine along with a few Las Vegas residency dates. And then that was it.For the time being, it seemed like the rest of the country would have to “Dream On” when it came to a nationwide tour from the “Walk This Way” group. That might not be the case anymore though.Rumors are swirling that Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and the rest of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band may be announcing a new tour on May 1.Sadly, it may be a Farewell Tour.According to a Twitter user, venues all over the country have posted the classic rocker’s logo accompanied by a “Peace Out” image. So keep your eyes peeled — bittersweet emotion may be on its way.

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Pearl Jam has announced a short tour for late summer and early fall of 2023, playing nine arena shows in five cities in August and September. Perhaps not surprisingly with a group long known for its careful attention to ticket practices, the explanation of how the band will be handling the ticket sales runs much longer than the actual list of tour dates. (See the full list of shows below.) For the first time, the band has adopted “all-in” ticket pricing, meaning the added fees that are attached to tickets almost across the board appear as part of the basic ticket price, rather than showing up as a surprise during checkout. Pearl Jam is doing the tour with Live Nation, which has advocated the all-in model.
