Opening acts for the 14 newly set dates include Carly Rae Jepsen, Broken Social Scene, Illuminati Hotties, Bartees Strange and Claud. The shows include gigs at two of the nation’s most iconic outdoor venues — Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado, on Aug. 5, and the Gorge in Washington state, on July 29 — along with al fresco appearances in Phoenix, Houston, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, Toronto, Vancouver, Asheville, Wilmington, Bend, Bonner and Boise.

Lana Del Rey taco truck has appeared in London today to mark the release of her new album, ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’, today (March 24)The food van appeared near King’s Cross station, seemingly in reference to the song ‘Taco Truck x VB’, which appears as the final track on Del Rey’s ninth album.According to photos of fans who have passed the truck, it has been selling ‘Ocean Blvd’ fish tacos, vegan tacos using peppers (as per the song), Mexican hot chocolate infused with vanilla and orange under the name ‘Sweet’ and candy necklaces.The album is the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’ and ‘Blue Banisters’ and features the singles ‘The Grants’, ‘A&W’ and the title track. Because absolutely nothing could surpass the mic drop of her placing the sole billboard announcing the new project in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the hometown of a fairly recent ex-boyfriend, in what could only be seen as a clever combination of extreme advertising narrowcasting and baller performance art. But if “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.” had to come in as a runner-up to that, it’s a very, very, very close second. It might even count as her masterpiece to date, among her non-billboard-related work. The word “might” is advisable because claims to that kind of superiority can only be made after a lot of time and repeat listens have passed, of course, and “Ocean Blvd.” is such a dense set of songs to take in that your immediate response to its 16 songs might be to rise for a standing ovation… and then think that maybe you’ll need a week to rest before you settle in for a second and third listen, this time with a whole Internet’s worth of Cliff Notes. The album is likely to wear you out — at least it will if you’re consuming it as confessional songwriting, in bulk, and not just aural wallpaper — but it’s a happy exhaustion.

It follows the lives of five generations of women. “In this community, everyone knows everyone else’s business, but no one knows where hopelessly romantic dreams, passions and inspiration will take them all,” reads the official logline. Reese Witherspoon executive produces alongside Sara Rea, Alex Baskin, Lauren Weber, Brian McCarthy, Joe Kingsley, and Benton Bohannon. Evolution Media, Hello Sunshine, and Tremont Road are the studios behind the production.

Amon Warmann Guest Contributor It’s little wonder why British romantic comedy “Rye Lane”has been scoring so much positive buzz of late. Directed by Raine Anne-Miller, it’s an infectiously funny and stylish feature debut that tells the story of Dom (David Jonsson, “Industry”) and Yas (Vivian Oparah, “Class”), who find connection with each other while getting over their respective breakups.  The film, written by “Bloods” scribes Nathan Bryon and Tom Melia, had its world premiere at Sundance in January. Ahead of the film’s U.K. premiere – taking place at the infamous Peckhamplex, which features in the movie – Variety caught up with Anne-Miller, Jonsson and Oparah in London earlier this week to chat about first meetings, inventive camerawork and much more.
