The evidence of Linda Chung the neighbour was then discussed by Chris Daw QC. She said that after police left Mr Giggs' home there was a state of "high jinx" with the Greville sisters and an unidentified man running up and down the driveway with Mac the puppy. Mr Daw QC said: "Mr Wright, he’s very good, isn’t he.
"Earlier Mr Wright QC had said these scenes were in "celebration" of Mr Giggs being arrested. Mr Daw QC added: "That was evidence that came from his own witness," adding the prosecutor wanted the jury tto think that was the "mood" and "mindset among the two sisters". We come onto the headbutt.
Mr Daw QC, quoting Ms Greville, said: "Massive headbutt. Huge. Deliberate headbutt.
Shoulders grabbed. In the face. "He looked me in the eyes and headbutted me in the face.
"Deliberate intent to hurt me. "He added that Emma Greville said it was a "deliberate" headbutt with "major force". Mr Daw said Mr Giggs: "Is taller than her, physically fit - you saw him on those exercise videos.
Notwithstanding he’s no longer a professional athlete. "A major force headbutt to the face causes a tiny little cut on the lip and maybe some bruising? "No contact with the nose, or the eye socket? "We all have heads, we all know. .
. what they [people who are headbutted with force] don’t end up with is very minor damage to the lip. "We suggest to you that it is simply utterly incredible, it just cannot have happened.
