After many months of speculation, it appears that the Duke of York will be allowed to keep his home at the 30-room Royal Lodge on the Windsor Estate, rather than relocate to a smaller home, The Mirror reports.The news comes after ongoing reports that King Charles wishes to downsize the number of properties that make up the royal portfolio, it was suggested that Prince Andrew could move into the slightly smaller Frogmore Cottage - the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan.The paper has revealed that Andrew, 63, has been granted a “stay of execution”, despite his annual £250,000 handout being stopped the King and his home needing an estimated £2million in repairs. It has also been claimed that Prince Andrew had paid more than £200,000 for roof repairs over the summer, described by sources as an "interim payment".
