Royal Mail last post dates ahead of Christmas 2023

We're getting well into December and the first lot of snow has finally fallen. It must mean Christmas is on the way.
Some of us are mega organised and will already have all gifts wrapped, while others tend to leave it to the last minute. But if you're using Royal Mail to deliver your Christmas cards or presents, make sure to get them sent off in time.
With so much to going on during the chaotic festive season, it's easy to forget. Royal Mail advised: "Allow plenty of time for posting. Please post items and gifts for Christmas early, particularly for international deliveries."

The Post Office closes its doors during the Christmas and New Years holidays. Between Saturday December 16 and Saturday December 23, deliveries and collections will continue as usual.
On Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day (December 25) and Boxing Day (December 26), there will be no deliveries or collections.

Between Wednesday December 27 and Saturday December 30, normal deliveries and collections will resume. But on New Year's Eve (Sunday December 31) and New Year's Day (Monday January 1 2024) there will be no deliveries or collections.
Usual operations will resume on Tuesday January 2, expect for Scotland.
