Piers Morgan hailed Sir Rod Stewart "classy" and a "ledge" as he shared a snap of the rocker posing in a Celtic tracksuit.
The Maggie May singer, 78, was the topic of Morgan's recent Uncensored column in The Sun newspaper and he sent a special snap to the former Good Morning Britain host as a way of thanking him for his kind words.
The broadcaster, 57, describes the Hoops-daft singer as an "incredibly big-hearted and generous guy, who cares passionately about his country" in his latest piece.
To show his appreciation, Rod posed in a full Celtic tracksuit and posed with a copy of the newspaper. Touched by the singer's thoughtfulness, Piers re-shared the snap to Instagram, with the caption: "Very few stars ever say thanks for a nice column about them, even fewer text a pic of themselves holding it with a note of gratitude.
"But then very few stars are as classy as Sir Rod. As my sons would say, what a Ledge."
Fans took to the comments of Piers' post to praise the Do Ya Think I'm Sexy singer. One wrote: "Everybody on the planet loves this guy … met him briefly once and he was an absolute gentleman"
Someone else wrote: "He is a ledge isn't he, seems to get nicer and kinder and more lovely the older he gets. I reckon he does loads for charity that we won't know about. Everyone loves him".
A third chimed in: "Man has made it to his age & everyone loves him. That's saying something about the quality of the guy."
"That’s because Rod is old school and grateful," wrote a fourth while someone else added: "And he is a good old Glasgow Celtic supporter"
In his column, the former Good Morning Britain host touched on Rod's amazing generosity from housing a family of Ukrainian refugees to phoning into Sky News and offering to pay for NHS
