In an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” De Niro expressed his reverence for Cuomo and offered to take on the role in a hypothetical movie about the coronavirus pandemic.
“I guess I’ll play Cuomo,” De Niro suggested. “He’s doing what a President should do.”
