Richard Madeley has revealed his spooky sixth sense about pregnancy as he told how Gaby Roslin branded him "a witch" when he knew about her baby on the same day she did. The Good Morning Britain presenter appeared on Loose Women on Thursday for a Loose Women and Men special alongside Judi Love, Denise Welch and Iain Stirling where he told the uncanny anecdote. Richard, 67, who is married to Judy Finnigan, told how he found himself asking Gaby about her happy news without even thinking about it first.
Speaking on the ITV chat show, Richard told his fellow panellists about running into Gaby, now 59 and a mum of two, one day when they was no hint that she was pregnant. He said: "She'd just been on a major diet, it was all over the papers and she'd lost a lot of weight. "She came in with her mum and two female friends, they sat down and she was stick thin.
"I went across to the table, said hello and had a little chat. I suddenly heard myself saying, 'Gabby, are you pregnant?'." Richard covered his face in embarrassment as he recalled how unwelcome the question was. He said: "She looked at me and said, 'Well thanks a lot, I've just lost all this weight'.
I said, 'I'm so sorry, I don't know why I said it' and we had a little laugh." But it turned out that Richard had spookily managed to pick up on something that no one else had yet, as he discovered later that day.
The broadcaster continued: "That night, the phone goes at home. I pick it up, it's Gabby and she says, 'You witch. I am pregnant.
