Richard Hammond has shared an update on his pal Chris Evans, after it was revealed the latter was diagnosed with cancer. The former Top Gear host revealed on Good Morning Britain this morning that radio DJ Chris is "always busy" and is "doing good" following his diagnosis earlier this week. On Monday, Chris shared to his social media fans that he had been diagnosed with the disease.
It comes eight years after Chris was first given the all clear from the disease after a battle with prostate cancer. But he added that his most recent diagnosis is as "treatable as cancer can possibly be" as it was also caught really early. Richard, who is due to join up with pal Chris at Car Fest this weekend, told GMB's Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins: "He's good.
He's fine. I saw him last night with a load of other people. "It was found really early.
But he's flat out bonkers, he's always busy." After revealing to his fans that he had the disease, he shared that he would be hosting his radio show live from Car Fest over the Bank Holiday weekend. Chris was diagnosed with the disease after his masseuse spotted a freckle on his body and urged him to get the growth checked out by a doctor. In response, the radio host said his masseuse was an "angel sent from heaven" for making Chris aware of it and helping the doctors spot this so early.
Chris is now set to undergo treatment next month for his stage zero skin cancer.
The presenter first had prostate cancer eight years ago but was given the all clear in 2015. When discussing his most recent diagnosis on his radio show, Chris said: "I've just got to talk briefly about... you know my biopsy for the skin cancer issue.

Netflix’s Pain Hustlers is a largely fictionalized tale of a very real world, and rather eye-opening, business: selling an easy fix for what ails us, even if it leads to addiction and death. Although the names have been changed, the characters invented although inspired for some by actual cases and people, the original source material is all too real. Based on a New York Times article of the same name by Evan Hughes and then developed as Hughes was turning his research into the book, “The Hard Sell: Crime And Punishment At An Opioid Start-Up”, screenwriter Wells Tower has fashioned a riveting, if disturbing scenario brought to life by director David Yates who was looking for a less fantastical tale to tell other than the Harry Potter movies he was directing. He found it, and also his way into what might be quite a shocking expose of just how far of a grift some in big pharma business and the medical community may go in order to make a buck at the expense of our own well being and health. It has its World Premiere tonight at the Toronto Film Festival.

I’m asymptomatic,” he told the outlet, adding that he was unable to sleep in the same room as others, or use public transportation.Taylor completed one round of treatment and will have five more rounds to follow that will take place every six weeks.“The lowest point is maybe six weeks after the diagnosis, when it really sinks in,” the Brit explained, adding that he was feeling very down by the limited treatment options.
