It’s wildly pricey at £150 for two, but does come with a bottle of Moet & Chandon, and it’s a special occasion.

Pong & Puck at the Great Northern Warehouse will be debuting its special King Charles frozen cocktail on May 6 and 7. It’s a remarkably reasonable £5, and it’s made from a mix of a raspberry daiquiri, pina colada and margarita and blue curacao, so it’s layered red, white and blue. How very patriotic.

With more than a bit of German lineage in the royal family, it’s apt that Schloss is getting involved in the celebrations. The new Kroissant Royale looks like a real winner - a freshly baked croissant stuffed with coronation chicken, pickled onions, fresh chilli and coriander served with curry mayo, served with a choice of fries or their ‘haus’ salad. Ja, bitte.
