Frank Ocean is reportedly set to direct his debut movie, with esteemed indie studio A24 in talks to distribute it. Discussing Film notes that Ocean is negotiating with A24 and another production company, 2AM, with a view to working with both on the title.
Details of the movie are unclear at present with Ocean's only previous directorial work being the visuals that accompanied his 2016 album Endless. He has licensed his music to a number of A24 movies in the past, most notably Waves, which featured his songs "Godspeed" and "Seigfried." He also wrote the foreword to a published version of the Moonlight in 2019.
