Rebel Wilson is clearing up the comments that she made about weight loss and how people “only need about 600 calories a day.”
The 43-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to respond to the way some outlets were reporting her recent comments.
Rebel talked to Daily Mail about how she was in a program to learn about food. She said, “Everyone thinks that you need to eat so much in your body needs it but the truth is your body doesn’t need a lot of calories and I know that might sound crazy to some people but if you eat right and you eat small portions you’ll be just fine. I learned that you really only need about 600 calories a day you don’t need 1,500 or 2,000.”
In the interview, Rebel did not say she followed that plan and did not suggest anyone actually follow it.
