Cat Deeley will soon be settling down on This Morning's sofa as one of the show's new lead presenters. The 47-year-old has been named alongside Ben Shephard as one of the ITV programme's permanent replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
The pair dramatically quit the programme last year following a string of turbulent headlines. Viewers will soon see Cat and Ben as the faces of This Morning, Monday to Thursday, while Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will present the show each Friday.
But it won't be the first time ITV viewers will have gotten to know the presenter. Cat soared to fame on terrestrial TV as host of Saturday morning children's show, SM:TV Live, from 1998 to 2002.

The West Bromwich-born star became part of a much-loved presenting trio alongside Ant and Dec, with the group becoming firm friends. Cat told ITV's Lorraine in 2021 that the Geordie duo were like 'brothers' to her, adding: "We always say it was the best time of our lives, and we didn’t really know it at the time."
Cat explained that there was 'no autocue or anything' and alongside Ant and Dec, they could 'cope with anything anyone threw at us'. A generation of kids were hooked by the hilarious moments the three shared on the show - but it was their performances in Friends spoof 'Chums' which were most memorable.
During 2020 documentary The Story Of SM:TV Live, Dec revealed how Cat was the first candidate he and Ant interviewed for the role of presenting the show alongside them. Cat had been told about Dec being 'really embarassing' on a night at a Chinese restaurant where he was drunk and fell off his chair.
