It's the day music fans have been waiting for - the UK hosts the Eurovision final in Liverpool tonight (Saturday May 13).
Despite coming second, the UK is hosting the song contest on behalf of Ukraine, who won last year with their act Kalush Orchestra. The group, who scored a huge 631 points with their track Stefania, have been confirmed as an interval act at this year's Grand Final.
Last year's entrant Sam Ryder did a stellar job, finishing as runner-up with 466 points. Can this year's representative, Londoner Mae Muller, do even better on home soil?

The pop vocalist, 25, will be performing her track, the sassy 'I Wrote A Song.' She is the first female entrant for the UK since SuRie competed in 2018 with Storm, coming 24th. Much like Sam, Mae isn't new to the music industry, having released her debut single Close in 2018.
The singer, from Kentish Town, north London, has described herself as a natural performer from a young age, writing her own songs since eight years old. At nine, she appeared in the music video for Grace Kelly, by singer Mika - who co-hosted Eurovision proceedings in Italy last year.
Mae told Golden Plectrum website her aunt is a music video director and she used to spend afternoons as a runner for chart-topping artists such as Labrinth. At 19 years old, she got her first song, Close, produced by a family friend. She “paid” for it with wine in lieu of money.
Once uploaded to Soundcloud, the song attracted the attention of record labels and she signed to Capitol. She went on to release the EP 'no one else, not even you' in 2020. She also supported Little Mix on their 2019 stadium tour, and played Manchester's very own Parklife
