EXCLUSIVE: Just ahead of its Season 9 finale, hit dating show Ready To Love has been renewed for a 10th season by OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
The current season follows singles searching for a love connection in Fort Worth, Texas.
The renewal comes amid solid ratings for the series, which ranks as Friday night’s No. 1 non-sports series on cable among African American Persons & Women 18+ and Persons 2+, according to Nielsen and OWN.
Hosted by Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, Ready to Love “explores the real-life romantic rollercoasters of successful and striking Black men and women in their 30s and 40s as they search for authentic relationships.”
Season nine wraps this Friday as four couples enter the finale episode, that will come with, according to OWN, “a few shocking surpises and at least one couple setting sail into the sunset together.”
Following the finale, the original 20 singles join Tommy in a two-part reunion to reflect on the romance and drama from Fort Worth all in the pursuit of finding lasting love.
Parts 1 and 2 of Fort Worth Reunion air on Friday, April 5 and 12 at 8/7c on OWN.
