A racist yob threatened to "slash" takeaway staff with a vodka bottling during a terrifying outburst. Colin Rymer called the workers "Iranian b*******" and "Iraqi b*******".
He made numerous attempts to get behind the counter while making the violent threats. As well as saying he would "slash" the victims with the bottle, the drugged-up thug also claimed he would "burn the place down" and damaged a sign, ChronicleLive reports.
The brave staff members told Rymer they had called the police but he refused to calm down and they were forced to detain him while officers arrived, prosecutors said. However, he continued with his racist language and aggression while he was being arrested.

Rymer, of Bewicke Road, in Wallsend, North Tyneside, appeared at North Tyneside Magistrates' Court earlier this year to plead not guilty to racially-aggravated criminal damage and a racially aggravated public order offence. However, he was later convicted in absence at trial.
Rymer appeared in the dock for sentence, but was complaining of feeling unwell, so the case was adjourned until September 6.
Prosecutor Paul Anderson said staff were at work in the takeaway in Forest Hall on September 2 last year when Rymer entered and immediately started being aggressive. Mr Anderson added: "He made a number of threats to burn the place down. He also shouted Iraqi b****** and Iranian b*******.
"A member of staff said they were calling the police. The defendant then pulled a sign to the floor. He has a bottle of vodka and says "I will smash you with this". He tries to get behind the counter. He picks up his bottle again and says "I will slash you"."
