Queen Consort Camilla forced to cancel engagements as she tests Covid positive for 2nd time

The Queen Consort has been forced to pull out of Royal engagements after coming down with Covid, Buckingham Palace has confirmed. On Monday, it was revealed that Camilla pulled out of events because of a "seasonal illness", which has now been revealed as covid.
A statement from Buckingham Palace Read: "After suffering the symptoms of a cold, Her Majesty The Queen Consort has tested positive for the Covid virus. "With regret, she has therefore cancelled all her public engagements for this week and sends her sincere apologies to those who had been due to attend them." The 75 year old Royal was set for numerous engagements in the coming days, including a celebration of Elmhurst Ballet School and visiting Southwater One Library in Telford.
King Charles' wife was also set to unveil a stone for Telford Veterans’ Trail, as well as a plaque to commemorate the visit during the Valentine's Day trip on 14 February. Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire, the King's representative, initially confirmed Camilla's exit from the events and explained: "Sadly the visit has been delayed because Her Majesty’s doctor has advised against making any visits tomorrow due to illness.
"Although disappointing we wouldn’t want her to make a visit when she was under the weather, and we had a full programme of groups and charities to meet." Besides Camilla, who also caught the virus in 2022, the King contracted covid in March 2020 and again in 2022. Prince William caught covid back in April 2020 but did not immediately reveal the news as he didn't want to alarm the nation, and instead, it was revealed by The Sun almost seven months later.
