Already well-known for her cheeky sense of humour, Queen Camilla had a good giggle when she was presented with a Barbie doll that looked just like her! The Queen was hosting a Women of the World event at Buckingham Palace when she was presented with the toy which had been designed in her likeness. Just like the Queen, the doll was dressed in a Royal blue Fiona Clare dress, a black Amanda Wakeley coat, Eliot Zed shoes and even had a Launer handbag and Van Cleef and Arpels bracelet.
Joking with the crowd, the Queen, 76, said: "Thank you very, very much indeed. Brilliant.
You've taken about 50 years off my life." Queen Camilla has been the President of WOW since 2015. She was joined by Mathilde, Queen of the Belgians, and the Duchess of Gloucester.
During the engagement, the group toured the WOW Girls Festival Bus, which is sponsored by Mattel, the company which is behind the iconic Barbie doll.
The bus has been travelling around the country. It has a recording studio and a library inside it.
The bus visits schools and community groups to help young people learn about gender equality.
Krista Berger, who is senior vice president of Barbie and Global head of dolls, flew all the way from Los Angeles to present the Barbie to Camilla. Afterwards, she said: "We were just tickled the Queen wanted to play Barbie." Sarah Allen, who works for Mattel in the UK, said: "We spoke to her office first to check she was happy to receive it and worked with her team on what she would like the doll to wear." The Queen met children in the Billiards Room before meeting celebrity guests in the Bow Room at Buckingham Palace, including Dame Helen Mirren, Melanie Brown, Dame Kelly Holmes, Emma Barnett, Dame Maggie Aderin, Natasha Kaplinsky, Baroness
