A pensioner who died following a horror crash in Aberdeenshire has been named.

Police have confirmed that a major incident in the grounds of a Scots primary school has concluded as enquiries continue into the exact nature of what officers have branded a "disturbance".
Dozens of police officers descended on the Flexible Learning Centre beside Brediland Primary School in Morar Drive, in the Foxbar area of Paisley.
A police cordon was in place around the school from shortly after 12pm with officers guarding entrances to the facility.
Eyewitnesses described seeing police officers talking to someone through the window at the Flexible Learning Centre, which provides education for kids who not engaging with the traditional curriculum.
An eyewitness said: “We were moved on from the area pretty quickly and judging on what cops were saying, things sounded pretty delicate.
“Two police officers were speaking with someone through a window at the flexible learning facility.
“They have been stood there talking to the person on the inside for quite some time, I’m not sure if they are trying to negotiate with that person.
“There’s around eight police cars, CID, ambulances and the response unit all surrounding the school.
“It looks like a pretty major incident.”
Force representatives have since confirmed that the incident related to "concern for a person", that the wider public was not at risk, and that the situation has been defused.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.15pm on Tuesday, January 18, police attended a disturbance and concern for person call in Morar Drive, Paisley.
"The incident was concluded at around 4.30pm with no-one injured as a result.
"Enquiries are ongoing in order to establish the circumstances of the incident.
"No arrests have been made."
