Kim Kardashian covers GQ ‘Men of the Year’ issue as Skims menswear launches

named GQ magazine’s “Tycoon of the Year” as part of its 2023 Men of the Year covers, whose other honorees are actor Jacob Elordi and rapper Travis Scott, on newsstands Nov. 28.The reason for the honor? Her Skims clothing company is starting a men’s line.In the cover shot, Kardashian wears an oversized suit jacket, pinstripe white button-down shirt and tie as she licks off orange Cheetos dust from her thumb, not unlike something a law school student would eat between studying — which is something she told the mag she spends two or three hours doing daily.Along with cramming for the California Bar Exam, Kardashian just launched Skims Men as a new offering in her successful $4 billion shapewear business, along with a partnership as the official underwear of the NBA.Kardashian believes that just like women who can sometimes feel insecure about their bodies and use shapewear to smooth their figures, men have just as many insecurities, “whether they talk about them or not.”Plus, she said she “wanted men to find out what all the hype is about.”“Kim is the Michael Jordan of the influencer generation,” Skims co-founder Jens Grede told the magazine.

The Beatles top charts with ‘Now And Then’ – 60 years after first Number One

The Beatles have topped the charts with their “final” track ‘Now And Then’ – six decades after they secured their first Number One.Released earlier this month, the track was billed as the last song from the Fab Four and stemmed from an old John Lennon demo tape – completed by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr with the help of AI.It also came alongside both a short video documenting their time completing the project and a Peter Jackson-directed music video that included previously unearthed footage of the band. Now it has been confirmed that the long-awaited track has gone on to top the charts – 60 years since the band claimed their first Number One track. This feat means that McCartney and co. now boast the longest period between an artist’s first and last Number One single – with their first being ‘From Me to You’ in May 1963 (60 years and six months ago).

Andy Cohen quizzed the impossibly tall Aussie actor Jacob Elordi about her on his podcast, Radio Andy.“Do young straight Australians care about Kylie Minogue?” Cohen asked.“She’s a national treasure, period,” Elordi said. The 15-second clip has launched a debate online, proving the generational divide in Australia is strong.Yes, Elordi gave Minogue the respect she deserved, but the comment section on the clip is a bloodbath of young Aussies claiming they have no idea who our princess of pop is.Next thing you know, the youngest generation will be claiming they don’t know the lyrics to The Veronica’s Untouched.“Young straight Australians don’t know anything about Kylie Minogue,” someone claimed in a very bold move.Jacob Elordi declares @kylieminogue a National Treasure™️!Another said they’d heard of her but couldn’t name a single song. Not one single song? What about All The Lovers or Can’t Get You Out Of My Head?Another young person claimed they’d never even heard a whisper of the pop princess.“Who? Genuinely never heard of this person or anything about them,” they claimed.Even more upsettingly, the young people admitting they do know who she is, claim it is thanks to their Mum and not Spotify.“As a young Australian, I had no clue who Kylie Minogue was until my mum told me,” one wrote.“My mum likes her,” another shared. While someone else said, you had to be a “certain age” to understand the power of Kylie Minogue.Minogue, of course, is an Australian icon; she’s released banger after banger after banger.

‘Priscilla’ Music Supervisor Randall Poster and Phoenix on the ‘Challenge’ of Not Having Elvis Songs and That Heartbreaking Final Scene

Ellise Shafer SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers for “Priscilla,” in theaters now. As the opening sequence of Sofia Coppola‘s biographical drama “Priscilla” unfolds, viewers meet a 14-year-old Priscilla Beaulieu (Cailee Spaeny) in 1959 West Germany to the tune of the Ramones’ 1980 hit “Baby, I Love You.” This time-bending choice may seem unexpected, but to those familiar with the work of Coppola — who famously soundtracked her 2006 historical film “Marie Antoinette” with the Strokes, Aphex Twin and the Cure — it won’t come as a surprise. After all, though the song is a subversion, it’s a cover of the Ronettes’ 1964 classic and carries much of the musical stylings of the period, courtesy of Phil Spector, who produced both versions.
