Fans of Princess Diana have noticed an odd detail in pictures of her and King Charles which has left them baffled.
The late Princess and the now-King were together for 15 years and there are many pictures of the two of them during their relationship.
And in these photographs, there's one thing that has had Royal fans confused for years - and that's the height of King Charles, which has caused speculation and made people wonder why some of the pictures look the way they do.
The Mirror reports that there are a good few pictures of the King and Diana, who died in a car crash in 1997, in which Charles looks taller than her.
But in reality, the couple were exactly the same height at 1.78m, which is just under five foot nine inches.
When you see the couple standing next to each other, it's indisputable, as confirmed by their official engagement photo, anniversary snaps and cute family portraits.
But Princess Diana would often wear shoes that were flat or only had a very small heel so that she didn't tower over her then-husband, and even had to choose her wedding shoes carefully to make sure she wasn't too tall.
Despite being the same height, many royal pictures taken during their time together make it look as though Charles is the taller one out of the two of them.
One fan on social media previously shared a series of pictures which showed the monarch looking taller than Diana, and many others took to the comments to talk about the unusual detail.
Someone wrote: "That's why she always tilted her head down. She also wore flats or very short heels."
As someone else said His Majesty may have been "standing on a box" in the photos to give people the illusion that he was significantly taller than his then-wife.
