The Prince and Princess of Wales have released a heartfelt statement about how they all miss the late Queen on the first anniversary of her death. William and Kate, both 41, paid tribute to the Queen by posting pictures of the late monarch on Instagram, including one showing the Queen with her great-grandchildren at her beloved Balmoral, with a touching caption.
The couple have joined a flurry of royal family members to make social media tributes to the late Queen, who was the longest-serving monarch in British royal history, on the poignant day.
Signing off the post informally with 'W&C', for William and Catherine, they shared: "Today we remember the extraordinary life and legacy of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. We all miss you.
W & C." Prince William and Princess Kate shared a carousel of pictures of the late Queen, who passed away "peacefully", aged 96, at her beloved Balmoral estate last September. Other royals including Princess Eugenie, Mike Tindall and Sarah Ferguson have also paid tribute to the late monarch on the first anniversary of her sad death.
