Prince Harry wants to make 'stopgap' move to NYC before UK return but Meghan refuses

Prince Harry is said to be frustrated with wife Meghan Markle as he eyes up a potential stopgap move to New York since the duchess refuses to relocate back to the UK.
The Sussexes' spent some time in the bustling city earlier this month where they marked World Mental Health Day with their first in-person Archewell Foundation event.
However, Harry has reportedly fallen in love with the big city and "really wants to move" as he "feels so much more at home" there having grown up in London.
Moving to the east coast of America would also mean the duke would easily be able to catch a flight home to the UK "for a long weekend" when he wanted to.
Meghan, on the other hand, is not so keen to move anywhere as she is "happy" in California and is getting fed up with Harry "not letting this go", the Mirror reports.
Speaking about Harry's desire to leave their current home of Montecito, an insider told Heat Magazine: “The truth is he desperately misses London, and being in the city helps. Plus, he could easily go home for a long weekend if they lived in New York".
Meghan is reportedly not pleased with Harry's plan and would much prefer to stay in their nine-bedroom Californian mansion which keeps her closer to Hollywood.
The source said: “Meghan’s so happy to be back in California, she can’t imagine leaving” as they added that it's “Hollywood all the way” for the 42-year-old duchess.
They continued: "It would make zero sense to move, and she’s frustrated Harry won’t let this go.”
However, the 39-year-old prince has NYC “on his mind” and despite the couple's alleged near catastrophic car chase in the city with paparazzi earlier this year, he’s determined to make New York his home.
