As the world celebrated the historic Coronation of King Charles on Saturday, one person who was celebrating for an entirely different reason, was the King’s grandson Prince Archie who turned four years old on the very same day. In a direct contrast to the pomp and pageantry of the momentous occasion, Prince Archie enjoyed a far more ‘low-key’ celebration at his home in Montecito, California, alongside his mum Meghan Markle and little sister Lilibet.
Sources close to the Sussexes confirmed that birthday boy Archie had a “private celebration” on his birthday at the couple’s £11 million mansion, reports the Daily Mail. The youngster even enjoyed a homemade lemon cake baked by the Duchess of Sussex using fruit from the family’s very own garden.
While no information was given about who was in attendance at the special celebration, the same source also hinted that a few famous faces may have made the guest list of the intimate affair, as “some of their friends are celebrities.” One guest who was likely to be present however, was Archie’s grandma Doria Ragland, who has shared a close bond with her first grandchild ever since his birth back in 2019. Another rumoured star who may have been invited is Meghan’s close friend and make-up mogul, Victoria Jackson.
