Ferne McCann was overcome with emotion as she picked an unusual baby name for her unborn child during a special stargazing activity with her fiancé Lorri Haines.The former TOWIE star arranged for a special secret one-night staycation to a treehouse as the couple were celebrating their one year anniversary together, and as they spotted Mars in the sky, the soon-to-be mum-of-two had a moment of inspiration. As the couple embarked on their mini adventure during the latest episode of Ferne McCann: First Time Mum, the 32 year old pregnant star had planned a myriad of activities for her and Lorri to take part in.
One of them was a session of stargazing as they got wrapped up in their warm clothes for a romantic evening on their treehouse terrace. Donning a big puff coat and beaming excitedly for the occasion, Ferne started looking in her astronomy book for the various constellations in the sparkling night sky.
The pair struggled with their telescope at first, and Lorri was becoming frustrated with the activity, but it wasn't long before they discovered a planet. Double checking what she was looking at, Ferne declared excitedly: "Oh wow it's Mars!" As both she and Lorri alternated looking at the incredible sight, the happy star shared her gratitude for the important moment.
"We are so lucky," she said in wonder, before realising the special moment could mean something even more to their family. "Oh my god, maybe we could call our baby Mars!" Ferne said, later explaining in an interview to camera how she treasured the memory of that evening.
