Cops uncovered a suspected firearm and ammunition following a raid in Bury.
The raid, on Stephen Street in Elton on Tuesday afternoon, also saw two people arrested.
Officers are hailing the arrests as another result for Operation Challenger, the force’s dedicated operation into tackling serious organised crime across the Greater Manchester districts.
