gears up to kick off its fourth and final season, series star Brian Cox says he's «more than ready» for the show to wrap up its acclaimed story.Cox walked the carpet for the season 4 premiere on Monday, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, and he spoke with ET's Rachel Smith about the series' dramatic conclusion.«I think we've, you know, got to the point where the show has reached its natural closure,» Cox, 76, shared, adding that 's creator and showrunner, Jesse Armstrong, knows exactly how to go out on a high note.«Jesse won't let anything go on further than it needs to,» Cox said. «A lot of shows outstay their welcome, and I think our show is perfect, and neat, in the way it is.»Personally, Cox is «absolutely delighted» that the series is wrapping up when it makes the most sense, and added, «In a good way, I'm happy it's over.»That being said, more than anything else, he's going to miss spending time with the people he's been working alongside for the past four seasons.«It's the cast. I'll miss the cast and the crew, the camera guys, we got great camera operators.

Diddy has reportedly teased that he wants to purchase BET, after commenting on the network and how he thinks it should be Black-owned.According to Variety, BET Media Group’s parent company, Paramount Global, wants to unload brands such as BET, BET+, BET Studios, and even VH1.A source, who is allegedly someone close to Diddy — real name Sean Combs — said the mogul is “exploring the opportunity to purchase BET as a part of his strategy to build a Black-owned global media powerhouse.”Combs’ recent Instagram post suggested that these claims can be true. He posted a video explaining the power of media and why Black people need a specific network by @earnyourlesuire.A post shared by LOVE (@diddy)“Media is the most powerful industry in the world but it’s the industry where we have the least amount of ownership, influence and control!” he wrote. “It’s time for @BET to be Black-owned again so we have the power to tell our own stories, control our own narrative! This is not about me it’s about WE!!!!”The caption concluded with Combs stating that he’s “building a team of leaders” to “pursue ownership in BET”.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has just joined the potential purchase party of Black Entertainment Television (BET), with the mogul setting his sights on majority stake, TheWrap has confirmed.A source close to Combs says the Grammy award-winning musician and record label executive  is “exploring the opportunity to purchase BET as a part of his strategy to build a Black-owned global media powerhouse,” Variety was the first to report. The source added that conversations around Diddy buying majority stake in the network has yet to happen. Diddy is the latest to take interest in the acquisitions of the network, following behind Tyler Perry, Byron Allen and Miami-based media company Group Black, which was founded by Richelieu Dennis, Bonin Bough, and its CEO Travis Montaque. Under the umbrella of BET Media Group lies brands BET, BET+, BET Studios and VH1, which was to the group from Paramount Media Networks in a restructuring rearrangement. This would be another lucrative entrepreneurial business move for Diddy, who founded media company Revolt in 2013.

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Nominations for the 2023 CMT Music Awards are led by country’s woman of the moment, Lainey Wilson, with four, followed by three apiece for Cody Johnson, newcomer Jelly Roll and the show’s recurring co-host, Kane Brown. For the second year in a row, the three-hour telecast will be getting its premiere network airing on CMT’s big sister network, CBS — along with a livestream on Paramount+ — and for the first time, it will be based out of Austin.
