The news about the royal couple's upcoming journey was shared by Vanity Fair on X, stating: "Meghan Markle will join Prince Harry on a trip to Nigeria this May, the couple's first official international tour since leaving their royal roles in 2020."
However, Morgan had a quick retort: "There's nothing 'official' about it - they're not working royals. This is precisely why their titles must be stripped."
One follower replied: "They may have been invited as private citizens, but they are not working members of the Royal Family, and therefore can never undertake an official trip again."
One added: "They're using HRH again. Palace should issue a cease and desist order."
But another was less than impressed with Piers, adding: "Piers I like you, I really do but bro, when are you gonna give it a rest? Please."
