Pierce Brosnan was once in the running to play Batman, and he is looking back on his campaign to embody the caped crusader.
The 69-year-old Black Adam star was interested in playing Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) in Tim Burton‘s big-screen adaptation of the DC hero. The role ultimately went to Michael Keaton. However, others including George Clooney, Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson have played Batman over the years.
During a recent interview, Pierce recounted a conversation he had with Tim about the character before he lost the role.
