Phillip Schofield was reduced to tears after watching the last episode of Netflix drama After Life.
This Morning presenter Phillip, 59, hold back his emotions as he reached the end of the Ricky Gervais' penned series.
And he decided to bare all by showing his teary eyed breakdown with his viewers on This Morning.
The presenter was interviewing the owners of German Shepherd Anti who plays Ricky Gervais' dog Brandy in the show when he told viewers of his own heartache at watching the show.
Sharing a tearful photo that he'd posted up to his family's WhatsApp group, Phillip said: "We're watching it as a family and we've got our group. It was my eldest daughter who said: 'Oh my God we've just finished series three and we're in bits' - her and her boyfriend.
"They were, I think, one show ahead of me. I got to the end of it and I posted this picture on our group."
Posting the picture with his bloodshot eyes on view on the screen he said: "That's me. At the end of After Life.
"It was Brandy, Anti that did a lot of that to me. It is a stunning series to be in. It's beautiful."
Viewers admitted Phil was not alone in his distress.
One said: "Never mind the finale of series 3, haven’t made it through a single episode without crying."
Anti's owner, Ash Foster shared some of the acting techniques his dog used on the show.
He said: "If I want to get eyelines to actors I can get her to look wherever I want her to look behind camera by using my meat wand."
He also told The Daily Mail she is the "perfect dog".
He told them: "How she is on After Life is how she is at home. At home she just wants to get on the sofa and watch Netflix with you."
