Former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel could not resist biting back at Jamie Carragher after the latter aimed a dig at Manchester United following Saturday's Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid.

CBS Sports host Kate Abdo put Klopp's remarks to the pundits — Micah Richards, Thierry Henry, Carragher and Schmeichel — and asked Richards for his take on the German's admission and if Manchester City could be in the mix next season.
The former right-back refused to get too carried away, taking a relaxed approach. He said: "I'm not getting involved in that chat. Game by game. I'm not getting too excited. We’ve been there and lost, semi-final, final the year before so… I'm going to be humble this time."
