Perrie Edwards has shocked fans after sharing her son's full name, revealing that it's not just simply Axel, and there's a secret meaning to the name when paired with the tot's middle name. The former Little Mix star, 30, welcomed her son with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back in 2021, and announced the new arrival on Instagram, writing: "Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21" followed by a heart emoji.Two weeks after welcoming her son she announced his name, writing: "2 weeks of loving you.
I’ve never felt love like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain" followed by a blue love heart. And taking part in a recent Instagram Q&A, one fan asked: "How did you decide on the name Axel for your baby?" To which Perrie replied: "His name is Axel Xander" she then added: "Like his dadda Alexander" The reveal of the infant's full name comes after Perrie celebrated her 30th birthday in true A-list fashion with a glamourous party.
Sharing some snaps of the party, in which she posed with Alex and Axel, she wrote: "So this is Thirty, Flirty, and Thriving?! Thank you so much for all the birthday love & wishes! Feeling so blessed and content at 30!" Prior to this, Perrie took to Instagram to tease the upcoming release of her debut solo album. She will become the third member of Little Mix to release solo music, following Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who became the first member of the band to release solo music following their hiatus with her track Don't Say Love, which quickly became the highest new entry on the Official Charts.
