He nearly died by suicide earlier in the episode, in some warped attempt at redemption. But by the finale’s ending, Joe, who’s has killed his way through London (in his fake identity of Professor Jonathan Moore), has emerged exultant. He’s fused with his murderous side, and seemingly happier than he’s ever been on “You.”

With Hollywood now turning to franchises like “The Last of Us” and “Borderlands” in the search for new audiences, it might be safe to say that video games are no longer the untapped frontier of adaptations. And that might mean it is the tabletop industry’s time to shine.

I have friends who’ve played table-top, role playing, and fantasy game Dungeons and Dragons (DnD), but I haven’t played ever. My friends tell me I’m missing out by not playing, but none of them will explain and teach me how to play, but what I’ve learned is that players can create their own characters and adventures. Whether Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves keeps true to the spirit of the game, I can’t say. However,  as a film, John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein’s execution pays off in a major way. Written by Daley, Goldstein, and Michael Gilio, the movie has an all-star cast including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Daisy Head.

Joe Goldberg is back where it all began.Netflix's dropped Part 2 of season 4 on Thursday, and by the end of the season, Joe (Penn Badgley) found himself reintegrating himself in New York City, swimming in resources he never had access to before — thanks to Kate's (Charlotte Ritchie) inheritance following her father's death (at Joe's hand, of course) -- and turning over a new-ish leaf as he says he's ready for a second chance at life.Of course, it's a bit of a ruse. Following his failed suicide attempt in London, Joe comes clean to Kate about who he actually is (bye, Jonathan Moore!) and all the terrible murders he's committed.

A fitting conclusion. Penn Badgley is far from Joe Goldberg’s biggest fan — and the actor has often expressed his interest in watching the fictional character’s story come to an end.
