Now, ahead of him leaving Juventus when his contract expires next month, he is once again being linked with United. Big changes are to be expected at Old Trafford this forthcoming summer and new attacking players are expected to be drafted in, certainly as far as a striker is concerned.
Edinson Cavani will leave the club when his current deal expires and a replacement will be needed to provide support to Ronaldo. And if United were to turn to Dybala, it would see him reunited with the Portugal international, with whom he played alongside at Juventus.
Last year, Dybala addressed what it was like to train and play with Ronaldo, highlighting the competitive streak within him. He admitted that when the United star lost, even in training, he could prove troubling to deal with.
