The first contestant of Dancing on Ice has been exclusive revealed today on ITV This Morning as actress and DJ Pasty Palmer.The EastEnders legend joined Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield live on the daytime show to share the exciting news as the hosts told her: "no backing out now". A giggling Patsy, 50, said: "Out of all the things that came through this was the one I had to really think about." She added: "Obviously I want to challenge myself, get back to work, get out of my comfort zone and I just thought I'll go for it.
It seems a lot of fun and I do like ice skating though I'm not an ice skater." Phillip, 60, said: "You've turned this down before. We've asked you before." Patsy replied: "Yes I know I've been terrified before but I was 50 this and I have to do things to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone." She added: "50 is such a weird age so this is kind of for all the 50 year olds out there.
I'm actually quite scared now." Holly, 41, asked how she's felt keeping it a secret and Patsy said: "Yeah my daughter has been travelling so she'll be like 'what is going on?'."
