Paris Fury has spoken out about Traveller stereotypes as she reveals how her mum taught her much more than just ‘cooking and cleaning’. The mum-of-seven, who is married to undefeated heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has spoken about her upbringing.
The 33-year-old lives with Tyson in Morecambe and the couple have recently featured in a new Netflix documentary series, At Home With The Furys. Now the mum has dispelled some of the myths surrounding Travellers.
She recalls how she was taught to drive, organise business matters and paperwork, complete job interviews and run a home. Paris credits her mum Lynda Mulroy for giving her important life skills.

In an interview with The Sun, Paris said: “I’ve come from a strong line of women, and we didn’t just learn how to cook and clean. My mum taught me how to drive, she taught me how to use the bank, do businesses, get into college.”
Paris added: “I wasn’t just taught how to shine silver or polish dishes, I was taught how to run a home, a business and be a strong, independent woman.” It comes ahead of the release of her book, How Does She Do It?.
Earlier this month Paris welcomed her seventh child with Tyson. She gave birth to a baby boy on September 18 but they’ve yet to announce a name.
The couple, who married in 2008, have six other children together: Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis Amaziah, four, and two-year-old Athena.
