Television star Paddy McGuinness revealed he's moving on from his ex-wife Christine McGuinness. The pair made the 'difficult decision' to part ways in 2021 after 11 years of marriage.
Despite their split, they vowed to continue being a 'loving family' and still live together in their Cheshire family home to co-parent their three children. Paddy, who was linked to TV star Kirsty Gallacher last year, admitted he is 'happy being single.'
The 50-year-old opened up in a recent interview of moving on from his ex-wife and going on dates, despite still living under the same roof. Paddy told the Mirror: "I tried a couple of dates last year. After twelve months of adjusting to life on my own, I felt I should give it a try rather than really wanting to. For now, I'm happy being single."
Christine, who has candidly opened up on her struggles since the split, and Paddy share twins Penelope and Leo, 10, and six-year-old Felicity, who all have autism. Their kids are their first priority, making dating difficult.
The TV star explained: "If someone didn't know our situation and came to our house and they spent the day with us, they would not have a clue [we were not together]. We get on well, we live together and co-parent. We get the lawyers back and forth but that's separate - that's a different thing."
Paddy admits he wants the best for his ex-wife, adding: "If Christine met someone else, I'd be supportive. For now, we're happy with how things are, living together and helping each other balance work and kids."
