Outlander returned with a bang on Friday as the highly anticipated seventh season premiered on Starz.
Fans were delighted to see Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan return as fan-favourite TV couple Claire and Jamie Fraser for the penultimate season.
Droughtlander was finally over as fans across the country set their alarms to 5am to watch the episode as soon as it hit streaming sites.

Elsewhere, many loose ends from previous seasons were tied up as well as setting the scene for some of the upcoming plot points throughout series seven.
