Could one of the most-loved Outlander characters be set for an exciting return in season six?

We are already fearing for the Fraser's Ridge gang in season six of Outlander with the coming storm of the Revolutionary War on its way.
But could a danger closer to home be the real threat?
We already know the arrival of the Christies are set to shake things up for the Fraser Ridge crew but could a lingering spectre from the recent past also prove to be a huge problem once more?
Though it's been confirmed that season six has been shortened to just eight episodes (though with a 90-minute premiere episode) the cast and crew have already spoken about how it will be one of the most intense yet with a lot to pack in.
Speaking about this season, producer Maril T Davies said there will be "conflict" and "trauma" at the Ridge (all the while mysteriously hinting that it brings back a “little of the Highlands”).
And though war is coming, and newcomers could pose problems of their own, it's the Browns that could loom largest this season once again.
After Lionel Brown (Ned Dennehy) and his men from the neighboring Brownsville subjected Claire to a brutal ordeal at the end of last season, Jamie and the Ridge family came together to take revenge.
Now having returned Lionel's body to his brother Richard (Chris Larkin), the animosity between the two families is still clear.
Speaking to TV Insider for their Outlander Forever Special Collector’s Issue, Sam Heughan revealed more about what we can expect in the action-packed shortened season.
He said: “[Lionel's Brother] Richard is an extremely dangerous man, and very powerful. You’re going to see a lot more of the Browns.”
Between the Revolutionary War, the Christies, and the Browns, it looks like this season could be an explosive one.
