Joe Otterson TV Reporter Taylor Sheridan‘s upcoming Paramount+ series “Land Man” has added four new series regulars, Variety has learned exclusively. Kayla Wallace (“When Calls The Heart”), frequent Sheridan collaborator James Jordan (“Yellowstone”) Mark Collie (“Nashville”) and Paulina Chávez (“The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”) have all joined the series alongside previously announced lead Billy Bob Thornton and fellow series regulars Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland.

Channel 4 entertainment format Rise and Fall has been canceled after one season following months of fevered industry speculation.

Wolf Pack, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, will not return to Paramount+ for a second season.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Allison Janney is joining “The Diplomat” Season 2 at Netflix, Variety has learned exclusively. Janney will appear in a guest starring role of the political thriller series, playing Vice President Grace Penn. She joins series lead Keri Russell, who stars as the titular diplomat Kate Wyler.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter Amazon has confirmed which Lee Child book will serve as the basis for “Reacher” Season 3. The third season of the Prime Video series, which was announced in December, will be based on the book “Persuader.” That book is the seventh in the Jack Reacher series written by Child. The official logline for the season states, “Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held by a haunting foe from his past.” In addition, it is now confirmed that Maria Sten will return as Frances Neagley in the third season of the hit show, with Sten having appeared in both Seasons 1 & 2.

Schmigadoon! will not return for a third season. Apple TV+ has canceled the musical comedy series, starring Cecily Strong and Keegan-Michael Key, after two seasons.

They join previously announced new cast members Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and Tayme Thapthimthong as well as Miloš Biković, Christian Friedel, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, and Shalini Peiris.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter “The Bear” and “Beef” came out on top at the 2023 Emmy Awards, with the two shows garnering more wins than any other program of the year. “The Bear” came into the night with four wins from the Creative Arts Emmys, picking up six additional wins throughout the evening for: best comedy series, best supporting actress in a comedy (Ayo Edibri), best supporting actor in a comedy (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), best actor in a comedy (Jeremy Allen White), and best writing and best directing for a comedy series (both Christopher Storer). “Beef” took home eight awards in total, including five Primetime Emmy statuettes throughout the night.

The season is officially titled “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story” and is slated to debut later in 2024.

First introduced in “The Witcher” novel “Baptism of Fire,” the character is described as “a world-wise Barber-surgeon with a mysterious past who joins Geralt on his journey.” Fishburne is the latest new addition to the cast of the series’ fourth season.
