Rina Sawayama has announced a US headline tour for 2022 – tickets will be available from here.The singer-songwriter will head stateside this November in support of her second album ‘Hold The Girl’, which is due to arrive on September 2 via Dirty Hit.Kicking off in Brooklyn, New York on November 1, the stint will also include stop-offs in cities such as Boston (November 4), Atlanta (8), Nashville (9), Houston (13) and San Diego (18).Sawayama, who was crowned Best Live Act at the BandLab NME Awards 2022, is scheduled to conclude her 2022 US tour with a performance at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California on November 23.“Can’t wait to perform the record for u,” she wrote while announcing the shows on social media yesterday (July 26). “Which songs from the first record do u wanna hear ??”.Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (July 29) – you’ll be able to purchase yours from here.

Marcus Mumford has announced a North American headline tour for 2022 – tickets will be available from here.The Mumford & Sons frontman will hit the road stateside this autumn in support of his debut solo album ‘(Self-Titled)’, which is due to arrive on September 16 via Island (pre-order here).The tour is set to kick off in Boulder, Colorado on September 19 ahead of further shows in Denver, Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles throughout the rest of that month. In early October, Mumford will resume the stint in Ventura, California.He’ll then make stop-offs in cities such as Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Portland, New York and Boston.

Julien Baker has announced a three-track EP of outtakes from her recent third album, ‘Little Oblivion’, alongside the release of an emotive new single titled ‘Guthrie’.The EP, titled ‘B-Sides’, will arrive on July 21 via Matador (pre-save it here), coinciding with the first date of her joint US tour with Angel Olsen and Sharon Van Etten.The record features three songs that were recorded during the studio sessions for ‘Little Oblivions’ but didn’t make the cut for the album’s final tracklist. Courtney Barnett has shared details of a new UK and Europe tour later this year.The Australian singer-songwriter will play 14 shows in support of her latest album, ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’, kicking things off at Munich’s Neue Theaterfabrik on October 28 before wrapping at London’s Roundhouse on November 13 for Pitchfork Music Festival.Earlier this month Barnett supported The Rolling Stones for their 60th anniversary show at BST in Hyde Park, London. Mark Tuan has announced an upcoming North American tour for 2022, with 16 dates currently scheduled.The Taiwanese-American musician took to Twitter earlier today (July 7) to announce that he is set to embark on a tour of 15 North American cities this year. Tuan is set to visit major cities such as San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco and more, as well as two shows in his home city of Los Angeles.In addition to the US, the K-pop idol will also perform in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver.

The Mars Volta have detailed another new single, ‘Graveyard Love’, as well as an extension of their US tour.The announcement follows the release of their first new music in ten years with ‘Blacklight Shine’, shared last month (June 21).The Texas-formed band released six studio albums between 2003 and 2012 before splitting due to a falling-out between founding members Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López.The pair quickly made amends, however, and formed a new group, Antemasque. They also revamped their pre-Mars Volta outfit, At-the-Drive-In, for a new record in 2017.“They will seek your ruin, and burn your lands, because if they can’t have you, no one can,” Cedric Bixler-Zavala offered as a cryptic description of ‘Graveyard Love’, which will be released on Friday (July 8) alongside a new short film.The Mars Volta previewed ‘Blacklight Shine’ by setting up a mysterious box installation in Los Angeles’ Grand Park, which plays new material from the band when you walk inside.Last month, an audio-visual art installation was also erected in Los Angeles’ Grand Park, titled ‘L’YTOME HODORXÍ TELESTERION’, where they previewed ‘Blacklight Shine’.
