Obi-Wan Kenobi 'Star Wars' TV Series Finds a New Writer!

May 4 is the unofficial day of all things Star Wars, and if you're scratching your head as to why, just say it out loud: May the fourth. May the fourth be with you, too.

The Skywalker Saga has officially come to a close, a sci-fi opera that began more than four decades ago with 1977's and ended, two trilogies later, with last year's. But there are plenty more stories to tell from that galaxy far, far away.

Harold has been tapped to write the upcoming series at Disney Plus, reports variety.com. He takes over writing the highly-anticipated series from Hossein Amini, who left the project back in January.

The rumors have circulated for years, but now it's finally, totally, officially confirmed: Ewan McGregor will return to the Star Wars universe to star as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new Disney+ series. The actor first played the character in the Star Wars prequel films, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. (The character was originated by Sir Alec Guinness in the original film, Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope.)

Actor Andrew Jack, who featured in Star Wars, passed away two days after testing positive for Coronavirus. As his wife Gabrielle Rogers remained in quarantine after his diagnosis, the 76-year-old succumbed to the illness at a hospital near London.

Andrew Jack, who was known for his role as Resistance Major Caluan Ematt in the “Star Wars” franchise as well as for being a major Hollywood dialect coach, has died after suffering complications stemming from coronavirus. He was 76 years old.
