Strictly Come Dancing star Nigel Harman has been branded a 'diva' backstage following his exit from the dance competition over the weekend.
The former EastEnders star's fate for the show's highly-anticipated live final has been revealed after he was forced to quit due to an injury, reports the Mirror.
Nigel had been a front-runner and fan favourite to take home the Glitterball with his professional dance partner Katya Jones, however they were forced to leave the competition after the 50-year-old hurt himself during a stunt in rehearsals, resulting in a painful rib injury.
However, it's now been confirmed that he will return to the BBC show after bosses gave him a unique role in the show's grand final.
Nigel's return comes after it was reported that the Strictly cast and crew were 'relieved' that he had left due to his mood swings.
However, in response to the rumours, a BBC insider told Mailonline: "It is always sad when a contestant leaves the show, particularly when an injury is sustained. Nigel will be well missed by those who have worked alongside him on the show and everyone wishes him the very best and looks forward to seeing him at the final on Saturday 16th December."
Recently, viewers were taken aback after they spotted Nigel storm off the dance floor after he received a disappointing 31 out of 40 points, leaving the star furious.
