If you were wondering which dog breed suits your lifestyle and personality best, then look no further - there's a tool for that!
A new test has been created in order to match people with their perfect dog breed, and it is based on things like your personality, hobbies, lifestyle and home, reports Wales Online. The tool was developed with the knowledge of veterinary surgeon and TV host Dr Paul Manktelow, and will ask various questions.
These questions include who you live with, how active you are, where you are located, and what you are looking for in a forever friend. The test will then match you to your ideal puppy friend, using all this information.
This tool has come after a new study revealed that dogs have become such an integral part of family life, that one in five pooches have a birthday party thrown for them. A poll of 2,000 dog owners found that four in ten dogs have their own spot on the sofa, and 35 per cent plan their holidays around their pooch.
A third of dog owners allow their pet to sleep in their bed, and 20 per cent even admitted they have turned out a night out to spend time with their animal. Also, 68 per cent see their family grow a stronger bond due to their pet.
A spokesman for Vitabiotics SuperDog, which developed the quiz with Dr Paul Manktelow, and commissioned the research, said: "To dog owners, a pooch is far more than just a pet. It can be hard for non-dog-people to “get”, but within a remarkably short space of time, dogs really do become part of the family.
"Ask any dog owner and they’ll tell you they’d do anything to keep their hound from harm, and want them to live the best life possible. This is why keeping your dog fit and healthy is so important. Nutritional support and regular exercise

Naveen Kumar A posh country estate where half a dozen lovers unveil their infidelities is the setting of “The Cottage,” which opened at Broadway’s Helen Hayes Theater tonight. Set in 1923, this comedy of manners by the playwright Sandy Ruskin is so thoroughly old-fashioned that it may come as a surprise it’s not based — like so many Broadway outings lately are — on existing material. Which is not to say that any part of it feels original. This is a paint-by-numbers sex farce, with parameters that do not extend beyond the obvious: heterosexual marriage is restrictive for all, unreasonable for many, and, oh, so thrilling to transgress. The forbidden-fruit pleasures that “The Cottage” tries to pass off as a feast, in a lavish production directed by Jason Alexander, are familiar, superficial and fleeting.

Daniel D'Addario Chief TV Critic The current backlash against queer and trans people, led by a vivified cultural right, may have come as a surprise to younger people who assumed their rights and protections wouldn’t backslide. For this potential audience most of all, “Last Call,” a rigorous yet emotionally vivid documentary series on HBO, will come as a startling depiction of all-too-recent history, and a call to stand united in the face of a world’s worth of threats. Produced by, among others, recent Oscar nominee Howard Gertler (“All the Beauty and the Bloodshed”) and directed by Anthony Caronna, “Last Call” tells a set of stories that tend to begin at a piano bar. In the early 1990s, a cohort of gay men, often in culturally forced heterosexual marriages and living their true lives only after dark, frequented various drinking establishments in New York City; time and again, one of this set would turn up not merely dead but dismembered, in a sort of brutal testament to antigay feeling.

SAG-AFTRA leaders painted a sunny picture of their ongoing negotiations in a video released over the weekend, saying the talks have been “extremely productive” and promising to reach a “seminal deal.” But according to multiple sources with knowledge of the dynamic in the negotiating room, the sides remain far apart on a range of key issues.
